Ashley L. Stewartson was born November 8, 1956 in Content Retreat Saint

Mary, Jamaica W.I. to the proud parents of the late Mr. Kenneth and Mrs.

Mavis Stewartson. He received his education in London, England, and in

1974 received his high school diploma from Bloomfield High School. In

1983, he moved to the United Stated and a year later, married the love of his

life, Rosie Stewartson. He has three daughters, two grand daughters, two

grandsons and one great-grand daughter. Shortly after, he became an

entrepreneur starting his own carpet cleaning business, now known as Expert

Carpet Cleaning Services. For over 25 years, he has been servicing the

Coweta County and Metro Atlanta areas.

While simultaneously providing service through his business, Stewartson

also found ways to provide service through his faith. In 1986, Stewartson

joined the Summer Hill Baptist Church, in Newnan, GA under the leadership

of Rev. J. T. Coleman, Pastor. There, he was led by the Holy Spirit to preach

the Gospel. In 1997, he received his Certificate of License and a year later in

1998, he received his Certificate of Ordination from Rev. J. T. Coleman. For

the next twelve years, he served as an associate minister at Summer Hill

Baptist Church. In 2011, Stewartson was called to minister as the Interim

Pastor at Mount Vernon First Baptist Church in Newnan Georgia. He served

as the Interim Pastor for one year.

By being a faithful servant of the Lord, some of the duties administered

included the preparation for worship services on Sundays; study the Word,

preparation and preaching; teaching Sunday school, Bible study, and

Vacation Bible School; administering the Lord's Supper; officiating

weddings, funerals, and baptismal services; administering communion to

homebound members; meeting with different auxiliaries; mediating church

conferences and meetings; aiding and restoring the church finances; and

preaching at engagements and other church commitments.

After his tenure as Interim Pastor, he continued forth with the Lord’s will

through teaching and preaching at various churches across Coweta County

and nearby counties. Being called by his fellow brothers and sisters, Rev.

Stewartson assisted with conducting and aiding in worship services and

provided any necessary aid in the time of need.

In March of 2018, Stewartson was called to New Hope Missionary Baptist

Church in Newnan, GA and installed on July 2019. There he presently

resides and serves as the Pastor. Throughout his ministerial career, he strives

to maintain his everlasting mission and foundation. "By the aid of the Holy

Spirit, my objective is to study the Word of God, reach lost souls, restore
